
The project is titled “Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence in Ukraine.” The project was supported by the U.S. Department of State through the global partnership Vital Voices.
The aim of the project is to strengthen national mechanisms for identifying survivors of gender-based violence and conflict-related sexual violence and referring them for appropriate support.
The project components included training sessions for law enforcement officers, regional representatives of parliament, the Ombudsperson’s Office, and NGOs, as well as the development of a Guide for conducting interviews with survivors of GBV and CRSV, based on a survivor-centered and trauma-informed approach, along with Guidelines and informational leaflets on this topic.
The main partners of the project are the National Police of Ukraine, the Training Center for Prosecutors, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Ombudsperson’s Office.
